Assistant Coach


Gabe Sitton joined the Medina Basketball coaching staff after several years of coaching and player development experience throughout the Houston area. He currently serves as an assistant coach for the University of St. Thomas men’s basketball program while pursuing his Bachelor of Business Administration at UST.
Prior to joining the collegiate coaching ranks, Gabe served as the head coach of the St. Mark Lutheran varsity girls basketball team and worked as an assistant coach with Backcourt Hoops, a player development program in The Woodlands. He also coached within Medina Basketball’s player development program before joining the AAU coaching staff.
Gabe is passionate about helping young athletes build strong fundamentals, improve their basketball IQ, and develop confidence through hard work and consistent coaching. His approach emphasizes accountability, teamwork, and creating a positive environment where players are challenged to reach their potential both on and off the court.
A graduate of Strake Jesuit College Preparatory, Gabe is committed to mentoring athletes and helping them grow as players, teammates, and leaders while representing Medina Basketball.
